START WITH YOUR ITEMS
What’s ready to go?
These are good starting points for your request. We’ll confirm the specific items and handling requirements before scheduling.
- Washers & dryers
- Stoves & ovens
- Dishwashers
- Refrigerators & freezers (confirm first)
- Other household appliances (ask us)
Plan the handoff before the upgrade.
A new appliance is arriving
Check whether the retailer’s delivery includes removal of the old unit. If you need a separate pickup, share your delivery timeframe and how long you can keep the old appliance in place or safely stored.
An unused appliance is taking up space
For a spare freezer, basement washer or stored oven, explain whether it still has utility connections. Include the route out of storage and any steps, low ceilings or narrow doors along the way.
A smoother pickup starts here.
1. Identify the appliance
Include the appliance type, approximate size and quantity. Refrigerators, freezers and units containing refrigerant need specific handling, so confirm acceptance first.
2. Arrange safe disconnection
Gas, water, hardwired electrical and built-in connections should be made safe by a qualified professional before pickup. Hauling is separate from installation work.
3. Plan for access
Let us know about a basement, stairs or narrow passageways. Remove food, loose contents and personal items once a pickup is confirmed.
What matters for an appliance quote?
Type and size. Name the appliance and share its approximate dimensions or model if available. A stacked laundry unit, compact dryer and full-size refrigerator require different handling plans.
Connections and installation. Tell us whether the unit is freestanding, built in or still connected. Utility disconnection and removal from cabinetry must be resolved before the hauling appointment is confirmed.
Handling and disposal. Refrigerant, unusual weight and difficult access can affect acceptance and cost. Ask about the specific appliance instead of assuming every unit is covered by the same quote.
Our junk removal pricing guide explains the information that helps establish a quote. For your specific items, send a pickup request.
Good to know.
Acceptance and any special handling or disposal costs are confirmed before scheduling. Please don’t disconnect gas or electrical connections yourself if you’re not qualified.
Have boxes or household clutter to clear at the same time? The general junk removal guide explains what to include when describing a mixed load.
Questions about appliance removal.
Can you remove a refrigerator or freezer?
Ask before booking. Appliances that contain refrigerant require appropriate handling, and availability and any additional disposal costs need to be confirmed for your item.
Does appliance removal include disconnection or installation?
A hauling request does not include gas, plumbing or electrical work, or installation of the replacement. Arrange any necessary work with a qualified professional and tell us when the old unit will be ready for pickup.
Can I include more than one appliance?
List each unit, its location and connection status in the same request. A washer and dryer in different parts of a property need a different plan from two disconnected appliances together in a garage.
