FURNITURE REMOVAL · BETHLEHEM & LEHIGH VALLEY
Old furniture.
New possibilities.
A sofa shouldn’t stand between you and a fresh start. Tell us what needs to go and where it is, and let’s plan a furniture pickup that fits your space.

Making space for a replacement
If a new sofa or mattress is on its way, share the delivery date when you ask about removal. Keep the old-item pickup and the retailer’s delivery as separate appointments until both are confirmed.
Moving with fewer pieces
A desk that suited the old house may not fit the next one. List the furniture you’re leaving behind separately from items the movers should take, and check any building rules for loading or elevator use.
A smoother pickup starts here.
1. Start with the big picture
Make a list of the pieces you want removed. Include the approximate size and whether a sectional or bed frame comes apart.
2. Tell us about the route out
Mention stairs, elevators, narrow doors and parking. A third-floor sofa and a driveway pickup require different plans.
3. Set aside what you’re keeping
Empty drawers and remove personal belongings. Let us know about fragile floors or tight corners before the visit.
What shapes a furniture-removal quote?
The actual piece. A lightweight armchair and a sleeper sofa can look similar in a quick description. Mention reclining mechanisms, glass tops, solid-wood construction and approximate dimensions.
The way out. Stairs, sharp turns and doorway widths affect the removal plan. If a piece was assembled inside the room, tell us before assuming it can leave in one piece.
The complete load. Include every piece you want removed in the initial list. Adding a mattress or another room of furniture later may change the agreed scope and price.
Our junk removal pricing guide explains the information that helps establish a quote. For your specific items, send a pickup request.
Good to know.
Please mention sleeper sofas, oversized pieces, pest concerns or anything unusually heavy when requesting a quote. Removal is subject to access and item approval.

Questions about furniture removal.
Do I have to move furniture outside first?
Tell us where the furniture is now. We’ll confirm the access, lifting requirements and pickup plan before scheduling. Don’t move a heavy item just to request a quote.
Can a sectional or bed frame be taken apart for removal?
Describe how the item is assembled and whether you have the instructions. Any disassembly needs to be agreed in advance; it isn’t automatically included. Don’t dismantle something unstable or heavy just to prepare your request.
Will usable furniture be donated?
Tell us if donation is your preference. Acceptance depends on condition and the receiving organization’s requirements. A pickup does not guarantee donation, and an item’s condition alone does not confirm that a recipient will accept it.
